scrooge.jpgRobert Zemeckis and his crazy motion capture children’s stories are back in the form of Disney’s A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey as Scrooge, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come an Gary Oldman as Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and Marley. I think Colin Firth is also in there, but he only gets Fred as a character. Isn’t it odd that I feel bad for Colin Firth only getting one part?

To the left is our first look as Jim Carrey underneath his CGI’d mo-cap skin, the image gives me the distinct good vibe that Zemeckis has decided to do away with the Photo Real look, and to instead go for beautifully designed characters – which is what he should be doing. I love the look of Scrooge there, don’t you?.

A Christmas Carol will be Christmas-ing it up November 6th this year.
