This is certainly the oddest bit of casting of the week, Helena Bonham Carter, aka Mrs. Tim Burton, has joined the cast of Terminator: Salvation, The Future Begins (Lets hope they lose that last bit before the films release). It’s not yet known who Bohnam-Carter will play but her role is according to official sources “small but pivotal”. My money is on her playing Sarah Connor, could certainly see her in the butch action girl role. A trailer is due soon and it certainly sounds pretty cool, im something of McG fan myself and think his direction on the Charlies Angels film, and more significantly the under-rated We Are Marshall was excellent. That’s before I even think about Christian Bale as John Connor!
UPDATE Whilst not the most interesting news of the week it proves, if nothing else, that the excellent teaser poster that came online last week was a fake, as now we have the official logo for the film. Its black and sliver, and kinda cool. Now we just need the teaser trailer…
