Im a sucker for cute animals so couldn’t really help but draw your attention to this, the trailer for The Tale Of Despereaux. Based on Kate DiCamillo’s beloved fantasy novel and finds young Despereaux (Matthew Broderick) striking out from his home in search of adventure. Despereaux, you see, wasn’t born with the natural fear instinct of his peers. Soon he’s mixed up helping a princess (Emma Watson) and trying to encourage his friends to find the bravery lurking within.
Now whilst becoming a little tired of the overload of CGI animated films, this one really does look like something special. The animation is impeccable and , dare i say, as good as anything Pixar have come up with, and with an original story to boot we could have something good on our hands. Find out when The Tale Of Despereaux is released at Christmas time.
