Because today we just can’t get enough of those superhero types, a few new film clips are online from Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Both feature Johann Kraus, a chracter voiced by creator of Family Guy Seth McFarlane. Many feared what he would bring to the role of Johann, an ectoplasmic being somewhere between a spaceman and Mysterio of Spiderman fame. But it would seem on this evidence and the glowing reviews the film is recieving he has nailed it, see the clips here, here and here. Hellboy II is out on 22nd August.

UPDATE In the past 12 hours a new trailer has hit as has an animated prologue to the film, whether or not this will actually accompany the film itself is as yet unknown, not too long until we find out though! See both the trailer and the ‘Bedtime Story’ prologue here, notably once again there seems to have been a massive improvement in effests shots.
